I am a photographer specialising in Perth newborn baby photography and family photography. I work on location and love to work outdoors with natural, available light and can also do indoor photography in the comfort of your own home. This would have to be one of my most favourite sessions ever. I love shooting outdoors, especially with newborns and yesterday I had two of them! Michele and Monique are perfect in every way and didnt make a peep the entire session.
Twice as much to love, two blessings from above. ♥

Emilee and Jack {Perth Twin Photographer}

Did you know in China there is a tradition to celebrate a special milestone in a baby’s life, the day a baby turns 100 days old. I was called out today to help capture some beautiful memories of twins Emilee and Jack who were born 6 weeks early and turned 100 days yesterday. It was an honour to be a part of their milestone and capture some special portraits.

Sweet Scarlett Raine {Perth newborn photography}

I met Scarlett today at just 10 days old but still 3 weeks before her original due date! She was the perfect little model and slept through the entire session, only waking at the very end when mum was re-dressing her ready to go home.
Scarlett is welcomed by her proud big sister Alira who I’ve photographed before so it was nice to finally meet her baby sister.
I adore every photo from this session so it was hard to narrow down which ones to show. Enjoy K & J :)

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas filled with laughter, joy and family!
2011 has been a big year for me and my photography as well as the birth of our newest baby! I’d like to take this time to wish all of you a very happy new year. May 2012 be full of acheiving your hopes and dreams :)

Meet Zenith {Perth newborn photographer}

It’s been a long time since I last blogged, and with good reason! We were blessed with the birth of our beautiful baby boy Zenith on the 17th November. Big brother Sebastian is just so in love with him and helping us out with his baby brother, it is a pretty special time for us right now with two beautiful boys.
It’s amazing seeing the differences and similarities between our two boys and as newborns they look quite similar, bith with full heads of hair, little button noses and same face shape; however Seb has always had mummy’s eyes and skin tone but Zen definitely has his daddy’s eyes and skin tone.
Of course I cannot help myself and go a bit camera crazy with my boys and whilst I am on maternity leave I may just fill this blog with an overload of images of them. Here are just some that I have taken and he’s barely a week old :)

Boys will be boys! {Perth Family Children Photographer}

Boys sure will be boys, always on the run or exploring for something exciting! This was my last [client] shoot for 2011 as I now go on my maternity leave and await our new addition to the family and what a full on shoot this was. Beau was a little leader and showed me all the spots he wanted his photo taken. Hugh was a little tired and shy but we got a few giggles from him.

My maternity shoot

Words cannot describe how excited I am to meet the new little addition to our family. Our son is really looking forward to meeting his baby sibling and loves to talk to and hug my belly every day-he is going to be the best big brother ever!
I thought I would share some of my own maternity pictures, taken by my awesome sister Skye (whom many of you may have met as she also happens to be my assistant). It’s not often I am willing to get in front of the camera and definitely feel much more comfortable behind it clicking away!
I have just a few more shoots left for the rest of the year and then I will be on maternity leave just patiently awaiting our precious baby :)
